About Fiber REinforced Concrete (FrC)

  

Fibers-reinforced Concrete is a composite material that consists of fibrous material that increases its structural integrity. The FRC includes mixtures of mortar, cement or concrete and uniformly dispersed suitable fibers. Setu Tech fibers are coated with a patented technology that is used in concrete to control cracking due to plastic shrinkage and drying shrinkage. The products (fibers) by Setu help in reducing the permeability of concrete and thus reduce the bleeding of water.

Advantages of using Fibers-reinforced Concrete

  • FRC has increased tensile strength and is less prone to cracking.
  • FRC has a much greater strain capacity compared to normal concrete.
  • FRC has improved durability.
